The Explorer's Bible Study: Into. To Prophecy
Aug 10-Dec. 7 (Resume Jan. 11)
Led by Beth Fitts
This course reveals the truth of prophecy - past, present, and future - in an uncomplicated and relevant way. It seeks to bring together and open a broad spectrum of Scriptures dealing with prophecy, leading the learner to a fuller understanding of their meaning and importance. Beth is also leading a daytme option for this same study on Wednesday's from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. beginning August 20 at North Oxford Baptist Church.

Discerning the Voice of GOD: How to Recognize When God Speaks
Led by Janet Hankins & Others
This study by Priscilla Shirer will help ladies learn to recognize God's voice as they spend time in His Word and understand the role of the Holy Spirit.

Fall Session B: Oct. 12-Nov. 23 (A continuation of Session A)
My Story...God's Story: Using Our Stories to Share the Christ in Us
Led by Janet Hankins & Beth Allen
This is an exciting study written and developed by Janet & Beth for the Ladies of First Baptist and Oxford, MS. Ladies will learn that our lives are full of stories that we love to tell. Those stories can be transformed into truths that God can use to tell others about Christ and what He has done in our lives.

Men's Fraternity: The Quest for Authentic Manhood
Fall Session: August 10th - November 23rd
Led by Dr. Eric Hankins
This is the first part of a three part series of Men's Fraternity written by Robert Lewis. This first series is the original curriculum in the Men's Fraternity series comprised of 24 sessions that will conclude in April 2009. The Quest for Authentic Manhood will help men understand their masculine identity and will show them how to make the pursuit of authentic manhood a lifelong priority that is incorporated into the fabric of their everyday lives.

1 Corinthians: Principles To Live By
Led by Jim Propes
We frequently think of 1 Corinthians as advice written by Paul to calm a fractious church, or as a source for information about spiritual gifts and the resurrection. A close reading shows that Paul provides the church with basic principles by which to live and operate. This study will identify and examine those principles, and how they apply to us.

Sanctuary Bible Study
Each Sunday night, we will have a Bible study offered in the Sanctuary taught by some of our Pastoral staff as well as some lay people.

Financial Peace University
Fall Session: August 10th - November 23rd
Led by Michael Meurrier
This series is about empowering people and giving hope to everyone from the financially distressed to the financially secure. This study will help families and individuals change their family tree forever, beat debt and build wealth, and provide personal financial control and security within their home.
