My dad's a chaplain in the Air Force. So I'm a military "brat" and a preacher's kid. I grew up in New Orleans, Panama City, Northern Japan, and Mississippi. I've been gratefully married since 2006. I've served at First Baptist since February of 2006 as the worship leader for the 9:45 worship service. I also help minister to student-type folks, and am the church "webmaster". So if you have any issues involving worshipping God, being/helping a student-type person, or the church website I'd love to help. Hobbies & Interests: I enjoy many things that involve music (listening, playing, thinking about, etc.). I'm really fascinated by people (what they do, how and why they do it, etc.) so I enjoy thinking/learning about and discussing things that have to do with history, psychology, sociology, theology, philosophy, and such. I sort of like to read, whenever I find something worth reading. Musical Interests: I like songs with good lyrics. Musically speaking I tend to like things that fall under the categories of folk/singer-songwriter music or alternative/grunge rock music, but ANYTHING with good lyrics is music to my ears (pun intended).
